Friends of Firefighters, Inc,

Friends of Firefighters is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to addressing the physical, mental health, and wellness needs of New York City's firefighters and their families. Our organization provides a safe haven in an old Red Hook firehouse that firefighters themselves restored and now serves as a central meeting spot for them to relax, meet with peers, receive counseling, exchange information, and access an array of services specific to their needs. It is our ongoing mission to continue providing long-term support through confidential counseling, wellness services, and other personal assistance required by firefighters and their families. We know that with your help we can ensure therapeutic and mental health resources to those who so courageously protect our life and property day in and day out.
